Contour Metal Headset – Review
Hey guys, Jon Rettinger here, got a review for you for the Contour Metal Bluetooth Headset that I unboxed for you a little while ago. So first, let me give you a quick tour on the device once again for those of you that may not have seen the unboxing review. Well, zoom in just a little bit here, go ahead and see my lips moving what I talked about the headset.
First, you can see it’s a really a razor thin and it’s just light as it looks, thing ways absolutely nothing it’s made off a very light weight aluminum or for those of you that don’t say aluminum, aluminum. I always get guff for saying that. It’s really just weighs nothing and the only button in that is for input on the front, there are three buttons. There’s a volume up and a volume down and a call end or send button which also activates voice dialing if your phones reports it. It comes to the variety of the little earbuds and it sits in your ear really nicely and easily and you hardly even notice it. Again, it’s because of the weight. If you compare it size weighs to the device I just reviewed the Jawbone you really can see a—really significant size difference could have ix to each other. They come to a metal is probably half—maybe got a ¼ that thickness of the Jawbone certainly half of the weight.
So go ahead and zoom back out as you can see me talking to you. Since this Bluechip headset first in foremost, the most important thing is call quality. In call quality on the Contour metal is fantastic. On my end it sounded nice, crisp and clear and on the receiver’s end they’ve said the same thing. It was nice, clear, they can’t tell that I was on a headset. One issue that I did have with the dough is one of those ambient background noise. This does not block out any sort of noise whatsoever. And it’s not a knock on the headset because that doesn’t claim to be a noise reducing headset but it a big issue since it pick up background noise, a little more than most headsets. So just be worry of that if you grab a convertible, if you're at windy environments, people always talk behind you when you’re on the phone, this headset may not be the best to look at but if you’re on a quite environments this headset is absolutely fantastic and it’s definitely work for checking out.
Another cool in the device, I’ve charged it just be a Bluetooth, a little adaptor that plugs in the button and it goes right into your USB drive. So there’s always a USB port available for charging and this must be—a computer, a laptop just plug it in this make life nice and easy. Battery life was fantastic, I was able to get almost close at four hours talk time and send by time it claims in the 20s so battery life on such a small headset really is, superb as well. Again this devices send to courtesy of the good folks at my gear store so I’ll try to learn more about I’ll put a link to the store up at in the sidebar and if you’d like to buy a device or anything on their website 2054 10% off just for watching Jon4Lakers videos.
