Since it is close to the holidays, in this video, I am going to show you some cool websites for a last minute holiday projects that you can share with family and friends. All the links to these web sites are listed in the video description.
So, the first website is instructables.com where you can find a lot of holiday projects. This one for instance is my favorite. It is how to grow a magic crystal tree using chemicals from around the house. This is a great project for kids around the holidays and it takes about two to three hours.
Another cool web site is scrapblog.com where you if you have digital photos, you can sign up for an account and make a digital scrap book and then you can then print it out yourself or order prints for your scrap book.
Some really cool holiday crafts you call Papercraft projects where you can make stuff out of just paper. For instance, that was a snow flake Christmas ornament. This is a holiday train and you can just download the PDF, print it out, and then put the pieces together. On this web site, you can find links to several different mechanized paper craft projects where the parts actually move. Like I said, all you have to do is download the PDF file, it shows you all the pieces, and you just print it out, cut out the pieces and paste them together. It is a great project for kids.
Some more web sites involve sending a holiday e-cards. My favorite ones are bluemountain.com where you can send free e-cards. Another free place is called LeaninTree.com and you can send holiday e-cards from here as well. Then some other cool web sites where you can send video and audio e-cards, one of them of course is YouTube, youtube.com/greetings. You can send video e-cards to people. Just choose the video and click the send video as an e-card button.
Another one of my favorites is called The Emoticarolers from a yahoo.com. Just go to emoticarolers.com and you can choose a song for them to sing or you can add your own lyrics to have them sing whatever you type in. So, you can just type in different words. This is my edition of jingle bells and then you choose who you want to sing it from the list of emoticons at the top and then you can just preview it and send it if you like it.
That is it for this tutorial. For more, go to www.tinkernut.com.
