Copywriting Tips: Bad Ads

The reason we want to talk about story is not so much it's, that every ad has to have a story. It's not -- I write a lot of ads at our stores. As you say, there was a kid in Oklahoma who bla-bla, you tell the story. That's really obvious to see but all sales pitches are stories essentially you are telling -- even if it's just I have -- I have not had the best nails in existence, these nails are so great that when you use them, they stay forever, they blend in perfectly, you can't bend them -- you're still telling a story, okay. And that's why we like to get in a little bit into story telling, I am going to pop in it just a little bit.

The basic problems of ads are that they are boring, confusing and irrelevant. Those bad ads usually fall into one of those categories and those are distinct boring, confusing or irrelevant. Now we saw, we didn't really see any boring today on the things and I don't think we will, but we did see some confusion and we certainly saw some irrelevancies and that's usually a tangent that you are going offline.
