Copywriting Tips: Waking People Up

You are waking the people up. Now you take ten people, or hundred people, or thousand people, put them in a room and you wake them up. Now, if everybody is all kind of sleepy and sitting there, and you are inoffensive and you come and you talk, and half of the room kind of nods off, they are kind of sleepy. Nobody gets offended, but no body acts either.

So when you stick the needle and when you turn the heat up on the fire, lot of people are going to get mad, and all you have do is know that those people that got mad, were they going to be customers anyway, or were they just the people that you needed to kind of get out of the way, so you can reach the people who you are going to be able to deal with.

Not everybody like me. I know it's hard to understand. But, like I said in my last, I piss people off just walking on stage because I am kind of loose and I like to shuck and drive with the crowd and stuff. A lot of people are offended by that. Do I care? No, not at all. I like the people who are conversing with that kind of thing because I am not going to sell those people anyway, and just like David, if you are not getting complaints, then you are not pushing hard enough. You should be in a sweet spot of about 7-50% return rate, and you should be getting a few people hopefully writing to you, how dare you -- do whatever.
