This next core move is called Windshield Wipers and it is from the floor.
What you are going to do is you will be rotating through your abdominals. What you want to make sure you do is choose your options here. You have got your knees and as you slowly extend your arms, it is going to get more challenging. I am going to demonstrate it once. You want to make sure that you keep your shoulders flat and try not to press with your arms against the floor.
So you are rotating through the abdominals and try not to let those knees drop down. Keep it nice and smooth. Watch. I am going to slowly extend up and I am going to make it a little bit more challenging for myself. That is the next progression and then this one, I am going to extend it right up and all of a sudden, I can feel the challenge. Rotate it through, keep it controlled. Try not to push against the floor. Okay, so let us give it a try.
Remember; try not to push against the floor with your arms. Keep your shoulder straight, good. I am going to rotate through the abdominal. Start with the knees bent, give it a go. Try not to hold on to the matt for help. I saw that. Good, rotating through, good. Keep your shoulders. Okay, if you feel confident with that, try and extend the legs a little bit. Good Katie, use your abdominals, rotate through. Good, good, come on up.
It is when you are coming up that it gets a little bit more challenging. It is a little bit easier when you drop those knees down. Okay, hold, hold, hold. Do not loose it. Good. All the way up. Terrific, okay I was going to hit the face.
This is called Windshield Wipers. Work in the core, rotating your abdominals. Good, that is it.

With the knee drives and the sit and rotate, remember to maintain good posture and focus on rotating with the abdominals. With the Wipers, attempt to keep the shoulders flat on the ground. Focus on rotating with the abdominals and not pushing with the arms.
