July 13th 1:15, I am right here in Port Perry Ontario and beautiful country town just outside of Toronto that has been beautifully maintained in the Victorian era. I just wanted to give you an idea of some of the stores around here. This is Hank's Pastries and it's a restaurant as well as you can see, restaurant and bakery.
Luke's Country store is totally in keeping the Victorian theme and, I think, it's mostly all-in-one-store, there is Country Store, Unique Gift, Victorian Card Shop.
Heading further West here, I am at the intersection of Perry Street and Queen Street. There is a café across the street that's called the Piano Café. I think, it's very, very cute! Here is the funeral home right here, I guess it's part of the necessity. The Genuine Articles, I don't know what that is referring to what type of store that is described, but again housing beautifully preserved Victorian block here.
Silverside Of Dana's, you can see unique boutiques, with all sorts of gift idea, Adorn Fine Furnishings Boutique. Here are some Victorian era homes, filming into the Sun, of course, is not a good idea.
But on the north side of the street you see very many beautiful shops here and there are lots of, local tourism going on here. I spent a night at a place called Landfall Farm Bed and Breakfast, which is just about 10 kilometers East of Port Perry on Highway 7A and that was also a wonderful experience.
The lady that runs with Merrill Hindsman is 88 years old and she has got a Victorian farm property dating back to 1868, absolutely amazing!
Inspirations on Queen Street, I am not quite sure what that is referring to, but it is also a sort of interesting home furnishings and décor. Let's have a look in here. Yeah, it's been just a wonderful experience spending time here. Just a one night here for me, not a lot of time to get out of the city, but it's a perfect either day getaway or to come up here for a weekend, just works out really nicely. So that's Port Perry in Ontario.
