So I’m working around B-flat, pentatonic major. So, that’s your B-flat note. So I’m hammering on from third fret to the fifth fret on fourth string here. Then first thing, you’re up here up on the third fret, on the B-flat note, coming back down pulling up from the fifth to the third back down to the fifth all the way down to the fifth string. Back up to the B flat. Then play it all with the pick or you can pick that—work especially whether you pop that B-flat note both times with the second finger [demonstration].
So for this lecture, you want to start on the 10 fret here with your third finger, bent up a fall step so you’re coming up to this B-note. Then got your pinky down on the 10 fret on the first string and then hitting that note again, hitting that bent note. And you’re going to come down with your first finger upon eighth fret up here on the first string and then pull it down. And then pull off to the eight fret on the second string, and then come down on the E with your second finger, and then back to that eighth fret.
It works best if you pick the bent and then pop with your second finger here to, the top note, then hit, and pick the bent note again. So both times, you’re hitting the top string right? You’re using your second finger pop the string. Then you can pop this G-note here [demonstration].
