Dr. Vivian Chi Hua Wu: After adding cranberry concentrate to ground beef, we found that it significantly reduced the growth of salmonella and for E. coli and other dangerous bacteria. Speaker: Not only that, adding cranberry concentrate to meat doesn't affect the taste at all. Cranberries contain powerful nutrients called PACs that protect the body from harmful bacteria, and they are known for their anti-stick benefit. With such promising news, it is exciting to consider the cranberries importance as a potential tool to help fight bacteria naturally, incorporating cranberry into food preparation one day maybe a natural way to minimize food contamination.
