Javier: Hi, I am Javier from Lawrence, Massachusetts. I heard that drinking Cranberry juice is good for kidney health? Why is that? Brent Miller: Javier, that's an interesting question. What Cranberry juice does is acidify the urine. This means if there is more acid in the urine which potentially inhibits bacterial growth preventing urinary track infections. Whether or not this makes a true difference in people with your urinary track infections is controversial. Probably more important is to maintain adequate good fluid intake.
