Hi! I’m Aisha Alves with Picture Perfect Make-up and I am going to show you how to create a portable make-up bag. Now, what we’ve done is we have to taken the collection of commonly use make items that people tend to log around in there make-up bag. And I am going to show you how to streamline this so, it’s a little bit more easy to use. One thing that you want to start with is make-up bag is kind of transparent, I like to uses because it’s a little easier to navigate when your looking for your products the light can come through so you can see what your looking for.
I also like to use assembling in a pencil case form. So, any of your longer items like lip pencils or mascaras will have a lot of room. So you are going to take your bag and really just think about the things that you are going to touch up during of the day. I know a lot of women who carry basically a full phase of make-up in there touch up bag when they have lots of things that they never use. So, the first things you want to think about are the things that you touch up. Number one, a great tool is a cover stick. Basically this is affordable foundation, you can use it to cover up blemishes, reds spots or use that as under eye concealer and it’s in the stick form so it’s really use and friendly you can just use your fingers. So that can go in your make-bag.
Another thing that you probably going to want to touch up with is a press powder. Throughout the day you make a little bit shinny but you don’t want to keep adding heavy powders or foundation. So, if you use something just very sheer and a very neutral just to cut the shine that’s always something great to have in your bag. Next, you want to have a little bit of color what well, we don’t want to put 10 different eye shadows and a lot of different brushes and blushes. We want to keep it very simple so, we are going to use multi purpose products. This is a cream blush that doubles as a lip color so you can use your fingers, top it on your cheeks when you need more color as well as top it on your lips for a little bit of a rosy color right there.
And then also for you eyes, you can use that eye pencil. This one is really great because it---- again it serves a couple of different purposes. You’ve got your eyeliner and you can also open it up to get eye shadow. So, when you do need to put a little bit of something on your eye, you have something that is portable and that you don’t need extra applicators for. That’s something that I think is really important when you’re putting together your make-up bag. You don’t want to stuff your brushes in there because you’re going to end up smashing them and it’s going to destroy your tool. So instead, use products that either come with there own applicator at that you can apply with your fingers.
Another thing that you can touch up during the day is your mascara. What I like to do is to choose the mascara that’s really light weight so if you put your mascara on in the morning and you want to add another coat later in the day it will get too campy. So, you can throw mascara in there and then finally your lips. And the lips is important because lips is definitely something that your going to touch up maybe after lunch, maybe after you have something to drink. But again you don’t want to bug yourself down with a lot different products. So, if you want to keep it basic, I suggest using a new lip liner which you can outline with as well as fill in and the cleared gloss. They work with everything that always match so there is no gas work involve.
Finally and this is optional. I always like to have one skin care item just incase you need it if your skin acts up. I like to use a mini-moisturizer and this moisturizer is great because it’s actually comes in a one so if you get a little dry around your eyes or on your lips you can use that. But if you have a two for something that you can squeeze that’s fine too so, really that’s all you need. It’s flat, it does has your basics for touch up and you can see what your looking for. This is the perfect portable make-up bag. Next, I am going to show you how to organize your make-up at home.
