Creating Graffiti Art
Hi, I’m Stephan Housewold. I’m here at State of Confusion Skate Park, and I’m here to show you how to use spray paint as a fun art medium. I’m gonna show you how to draw your idea, sketch it on to the wall, fill it, put in details, put in your final outline, and get your final piece. To get started, there’s not a whole lot you’re gonna need. For starters, you’ll gonna need spray paint, wall paint, you’re gonna need gloves, cups, and most importantly, you’re gonna need a ventilator. Some important things to remember is to start in a well ventilated area, if not use a ventilator, both is preferable. And most importantly, make sure you have permission to do what you’re gonna do or you might end up in jail. Before we get started, let me tell you a little about myself. I started painting when I was pretty young, I didn’t get serious about it until maybe a few years ago. And I’ve done work for Field TV, for their reality series at Camp Woodward. And I have also done work at the Pier of Skate Park. And I also have my fine arts degree from Delaware College of Art Design. Now that you know a little more about me, let’s get started painting.
