Welcome to BarbequeWeb.com. Today we are going to mix up some basic barbeque rub for pork. Good for your pork ribs, pork butts, chops. Real easy to do. Let me show you how it is done.
Here we use in about a--we need a cup of fresh black ground pepper. And I am just going to add the quantities to suite your taste. Mix it to your own barbeque. Then put in about a quarter cup of paprika, which gives you some color and a very mild peppery taste.

Here we got about two tablespoons of garlic powder. Then the garlic goes well on pork. Put it just that quantity up and down. It works! Real nice as an addition is a little bit of onion powder. I am going to use about two tablespoons.

Of course you need the salt. Not to use a Kosher salt or a Chef’s salt. Large granules, it adheres well to the pork. And now, I am going to put a little kind of peppery here. We use about maybe a tablespoon. It really would not add much heat. Put this in a little bit of heat round at the side of the tongue, makes for good ribs. Now you can add a lot more than that. It is just a starter. And of course, last but not the least you got to have a little sugar. You like to use about a quarter cup of sugar and sweeten it up good. We now mix it. And I am ready to go.
Now, remember you adjust these quantities that I have just given you, to make it your own barbeque rub. That is what barbeque is all about. BarbequeWeb.com.
