American Publishing houses started catching on to the trend and began churning of books with a variety of conspiracy theories. Everything—from oil, the military and industrial complex, and intelligence conspiracies were postulated as being incentives for the state-sponsored terrorism acts.
But then, there were some more colorful theories about how the attacks were actually pulled off, including the one that postulates that Twin Towers is collapsing as part of a premeditated and planned-out demolition. Something that would have require foreknowledge of the even to prepare for in advance. Thus, accusing the government or some of its elements anyway of being involve and not only letting the attacks happen, but actually bringing them to for wishing.
As a result, it wasn’t long before a democratic representative—Cynthia McKinney of Georgia soak up the truth towards herself and began questioning whether the Bush Administration had any foreknowledge of the attacks in the first place. The movement has still managed to win the sympathies of a couple of interesting and notable figures such as Charlie Sheen and none other than Larry Flint—the publisher and founder of Hustler Magazine himself.
So, of course it is interesting to speculate just how much credibility of movement such as the 9/11 movement can have when the mainstream media ignores it on a regular and consistent basis. However, what you have to bear in mind, is part and parcel of any good conspiracy, is that anyone does ignore it.
Many of it’s proponents have some serious street credibility and the true essence of the word. Take the freedom fighting freelance journalist Alex Jones for example. Jones has been one of the 9/11 Truth Movements’ most outspoken advocates. Indeed, it was in his talk show in 2006 that Charlie Sheen first spoke out publicly. What a secretive group called the Bilderberg Group met for their annual conference in Ottowa in 2006. Jones traveled to Canada to cover the event.
When he arrived at the boarder, Canadian customs detained him for over 15 hours and when they finally did let him go, there’s only with one change of clothing so that he would have to return the following for additional questioning. So, even the polite Canadians think that it’s worth their time to impede the work of someone like Jones, well then maybe, he’s onto something at the end of the day after all or in the least, maybe the ideas of the 9/11 Truth Movement have a bit more credibility than we’re willing to admit.
So stay tuned to WatchMojo.com for further installments of the third eye and we’ll be taking a look at the specific conspiracy theories that account for what happened on September 11, 2001.
