Male: Hi guys and welcome to the second ever look and taste show where we bring you really cool recipes, loads of food in use, and a little foody tips and techniques. We’re going to start off today with a really cool website which is sugarstacks.com. Now if you ever had a kind of Coke or Red Bull, or maybe some ice cream, I wondered how much sugar is in there. This is a website for you. It pies up little cubes of sugar beside each drink or snack, and really is quite frightened just how much sugar we all consume without even knowing it.
Now we’re going to start off today with a really cool technique which is again perfectly crispy bacon.
Female: To cook perfect crispy bacon, you will need to follow some very simple steps. Firstly, you will need to make sure that you start the pan on a low temperature before adding the bacon. You will not need to add any oil, butter or fat. At this stage of the process, is the bacon when it releases its own fat as it starts to cook.
As the bacon starts to sizzle, you will reach the crucial point where you have to flip it constantly every 45 seconds to make sure that it is even brown color on all sides. Continue this process until the bacon is golden brown and caramelized on both sides. Remove the bacon from the pan and strain on a kitchen paper for two minutes and pat until all the excess fats has been removed.
Male: We’re down with—today, we’re going to be cooking up some steaks and burgers for a few people to come along to the launch of our iPhone and our new weekly show. So come check it out.

Male: Steak, I’ll be for steak.
Male: I’ll be the—burger.
Female: I’ll be for steak.
Male: On a little bit, it might actually set a wine aroma. What sort of wine would you recommend with a perfect steak?
Male: For a perfect steak, well obviously, red. I mean—I always say I drink comfortable with, so red with a classic. I mean, it could go with a white. If white was just your thing.
Male: What about strawberry and banana smoothies?
Male: There would certainly be a difference kind of a compliment.
Male: That’s good. I'm looking forward to that though.
Male: I just finished feeding about 30 people lovely steaks and burgers. Everybody is stuffed, they’re all gone and happy. I think it has been a really successful day all in all.
Ten-minute pasta with lemon, peppers, chicken, absolutely delicious, perfect for you dinner. Start off, clove of garlic. I’m just going to peel that off. Now as we chop those, olive oil into your pan, generous with that and roughly chop your garlic.
Next up, red onion. Lovely little flavor, nice and crunchy. Really nice color too. Nice small dice and into your pan. Keep that moving all the time. Next in, your capers. Now next up, chicken. Small little pieces. I want this to cook really fast and goes the chicken. Keep that moving. Lovely flavors coming out of there. Next up, pepper, salt, just keep that moving all the time. Now you use in semi fresh pasta available in the fridge in all supermarkets. Pop that in, a little bit of salt. We’ve been cooking for four minutes, we’ve got two minutes to go. At this stage, flip the chopping board over and a lemon in half. Squeeze the lemon juice into your chicken.
Next up, parsley, stalks and all into a bowl nice fine, and diced. I’m going to keep a little bit of the liquid in there. That’s going to help to make the sauce. Next up, in goes the parsley. Toss it all together, salt, pepper, serve it straight up into your bowl. Ten-minute pasta with chicken and capers done in no time.
