The first thing you are doing, again, notice I am not talking about your digging because this is a movement drill, you are doing this and you are trying to shuffle, you are crossing over right back because you are trying to face me; you know where the ball is going, and you know the ball is going here.
We drop step and now we are running, my hips don't cross, I am supposed to be playing the ball like this and squaring up at the end. A lot you guys are waiting to face me, this is not digging, this is a movement drill. Maybe it is a serve that caught you off guard or someone touched it because they maybe tried to play with their hands, so then you are running to get to it. Remember we don't want to cross over, this is just a movement drill.
