What’s going on? This is Nicky Twist from WinkSound.com. And in this clip here, we already have your audio loaded up, you know how to do that. And I’m going to show you how to slice up the audio and move it around and do a lot of editing with it and you could really make it your own.
Okay, so now we have audio and let’s say we want to switch it around a little bit, snazz it a little bit like a Nick Twist type would. We’re going to go in here and we’re going to go to our scissor, which you could either hit up here actually or you could right click on the screen and go down the split. Now, your scissor is going to split wherever the quantize is. So let me make this a little bigger here. We pull down the line, so we can see the audio a little better. Now, if you see I have quantized to 1/8 so it’s only going to cut at 1/8 point. Now, if I want to make my cut smaller I could go to 1/16 and as you see here it will make the cut points a lot smaller so we can get more detail depending on exactly how we want to split this audio.
So, let’s just say we want to take each head here. We’re going to cut right here which you just click on and it will cut it. We could cut at every point here. And now, we can right click again, put it on our object selection we can move this audio here and we could start doing our own editing here with this audio. We can move things into place, move them around here, and I can duplicate this here. How I just did this duplication is as I go on the point that I want to move over with the mouse, I hit ALT, click on it with the mouse and move it over you must let go of the mouse first and then let go of ALT and then it automatically copies it over for you. And this really allows you to do just about anything you want with audio.
