How to Curl Short Hair?
Hello everyone and welcome to my channel so today I’ve decided to do these curls. It’s an easy how to step on how to curl your hair so if you want to see how I did the tutorial just stay tune.
Okay, well I’m going to start off with parting my hair so I like starting at the top because— make sure you want to just start at the bottom and then you work your way up we can get higher because you already been curling the bottom part and then by time you get to the top part your already like so I starting from the top and turn from top and then go to the bottom part of really as in pointing at the top part, okay. So what I like to do is hide the bottom half with the hair tie into two sections.
And then I am going to part this in the middle.
And then you want to apply heat protection before you apply any heat applied into your hair so your hair does not get damaged I’m using TRESemme Thermal Creation. A great inexpensive heat protective so it’s definitely worth buying you can buy it at any drug store.
So you’re just going to spray a little bit on the end I’m going to comb that out make sure the product is spread evenly And then grab a section here, the smaller the strand the better because it will curl more better the heat will get to the hair more faster so be ready to get a bigger chunk let’s say like this. It would be— it will take longer for the hair to curl and we are doing curl you’re here over much that you got the bigger strands.
So I like to grab a thinner strand kind of like this. So I’m going to be using Conair instant heat curling iron. It’s one and a half inch curler. The shorter your hair is the smaller curling iron you want to get so if you have shorter hair like me maybe a 3. inch curler would work better. But this works fine on my hair, but if you want tighter curler your going to have to get a smaller curling iron so the smaller the curling iron the smaller you curls would be, the tighter the curls would be.
The larger the curling iron the more lighter e your curls would be. You want to grab, harder and lift it up. You’re going to place it on the hair. You want to bring it down and then you’re going to start coming in towards your face. And I usually wait there about 8 to 10 seconds it depends on how thick your hair is and your is a little bit thicker you might want to wait there a little bit more than 10 seconds but I’m going do 10 seconds is good.
Okay. I’m done curling to top part. I’m going to add my hairspray and I’m using— to be used in holding spray, humidity resistant holding spray. So you will only spray a little bit, not so much. And next I’m going to move it away leave my hair in the pony tail and I’m going to begin to curl for the strand.
And the point doesn’t have to be shorter because like I said you’re not really going to be able to do it. I just want to get a little—
If you add a big hair strand and you have a smaller curling iron wit your hair strand its not really—the heat is really not going to penetrate through the hair, so it’s not really going to curl your hair. It’s going to give it a slight wave.
So what you want to do now is take out that ponytail and you should let it dry before you do this let the hair cool down and hairspray and then let it dry and then after take it out and you are going to curl your hair in the same direction. I mean twist— you are going to twist the hair in the same direction we were curling it.
And then we are going to make a curl like this and add a little bit more hair spray.
And then you can go on to pick your wire and then go just spray until that hairspray..
And what you are going to want to do now is to comb your hair like this and do not you’re not really going to completely— your hair and then just kind of like there and just comb it. Give it the thing for him.
At this point you can check with me which part of the hair you didn’t curl as much and you can just take the extremities around and curl it a bit and that’s it. So I hope you enjoy this tutorial and stay tune for more.
