D Minor Melodic Scale – Nate Bosch
Hi, I’m Nate Bosch and today I want to teach you how to play the D minor melodic scale.
Start on D and we’ll name the notes. So we have D, E, F, G, A, E, C sharp, D, C natural,
D flat, A, G, F, E, and D. Now for the fingering we’ll start with our thumb on the D,
thumb comes under to the G, on the way back down, third finger comes all over to the F.
Now on the left hand we start with our pinky on the D. Crossover to the third finger on
the B on the way back down the thumb comes under the B flat to the A on the end of the
D.
So let’s play that together in both hands, and now the quicker.
