My wife and I bought a 'DCS All Gas Range - Convection Oven' about 4 years ago. We've dumped so much money for repairs into this piece of junk. The customer service is the worst in the business. When we received it the simmer tube had a hole in it & was dangerously leaking gas. Manufacturer did not cover the repair even though their product could have blown up our whole house. Also, in the four years we've owned it we've replaced the thermostats for both oven at least 3 times, and this last thermostat change, because the smaller oven was heating up so high, it burned another hole in one of the main gas tubes for one of the burners on the range. Do not try to save money purchasing a DCS. In the long run you'll spend 2, if not 3 times more, than if you bought something more expensive like a Wolf or Viking.

This particular simplified DCS, you got a convection fan that is mounted on the inside of the unit. It really goes an excellent job. It is for circulating the heat, allows you to get some crispy edges on some certain dishes, and is found on the both of the larger and the smaller which is simply here on the DCS. I will open this thing up for you. I will get my range buddy here. As you guys take a look at the convection, the fan. It is in the back and it also circulates the air within the unit for certain dishes, that would be the best way to cook. And basically, you get a fan in the back, you turn it on, and it circulates the air within and again the best way to do certain dishes that you have out there. Folks, just so you can actually see the burner, it is the sealed burner in this convection unit. We just wanted you to see this so that you can see how it was set up and how they are getting even heat. The other thing that we wanted to show you in this unit is just around the fan a little bit, that is your convection fan back there and it pulls the air through the unit, again, like we explained earlier. Again, we just wanted you to get some close-up shots of this particular unit. It has got two lights on the inside. Hi folks, and again, DCS is known a tremendous job of giving folks flexible appliances for their home. On 48 inches, this particular unit was the dual fuel with the electric bottom and the gas there. However, you can get the all gas simply if that is what will fitting for your needs. And, we do appreciate you guys for checking us out.
