I would like to take a minute and mention to you folks some of the options that you can get to go along with your DCS range. One of which is a back guard which is a piece of stainless steel paneling that can go on the wall on top of your range and you know, in between the range and the vent hood itself.
Now, that is an option that you do not have to get, for example, the range stops right here with that slide is to allow for venting, for cooling for the appliance or so and that is going to be in place, but then you have the options to get, either a short or a tall back guard. The short is 12 inches in height, and the tall, which is this right here, is 30 inches.
Now, what is needed about getting the tall of 30 inch unit, besides, just for easy clean up and things like that as well as of course it really does a good job of kind of dressing everything off here. When you get the cold one, it also comes with this top racks that you have the ability to put things on. For example, the set up that we have here, we got our large vent hood that goes over the top of our range and we have built in heat lamps within our range.
They can be used to keep things here of the top warm. You might get to see my hand here, how my hand is very red. You got a particular bulb in there that projects a lot of heat. For example, what we did was, on this foreside, we have a temperature device in place. Right now, it is reading right around a 150 degrees. It may range even a little bit hotter than that.
For example, you could ice up here to keep them warm or even place you know, before you are ready to serve, get your plates warm by sitting them on top. And so, it is a really neat addition to your range. We got a lot of people that really get a kick out of this things and when I shut down. Let us take a look, and here is something that you might not even think about, if you are not using this to hold things to keep warm, it makes a really great holder for your cook book, keeps it right there at the top.
