kipkay.com is not a 'personal' website and if you look it up at godaddy.com's whois, you will find it's a domainbyproxy.com product. Why all the secrecy, if these are simple personal projects. You'll also notice there is no simple way to contact this person. For example, to notify him that there is no link to purchasing this megaphone. There is something fishy about kipkay.com . Enjoy!

Simply buy the electret microphone element from where you got the socket, fit it into the base of a 2L coke bottle, having cut off the top half of the bottle and wire it up to an opamp with a gain of around 1000. Most will have a BW wide enough for speech at this gain. Plug in a pair of headphones with both transducers wired in series (to give around 72 ohms impedance for the opamp to work into) and you will be able to pickup insects crawling meters away..
