Danny Cahill's Big Reveal After Skin Excess Removal Dr. Travis Stork: Before the break, we saw the dramatic surgery; Danny Cahill recently underwent to remove a large amount of excess skin. Just two months after surgery, Danny’s here to reveal his new body, everyone ready? Danny, come on out! So, this is only half of the result because you look phenomenal. But, you know, you still have your shirt on. Dr. Drew Ordon: And that’s the point that he looked pretty good in his clothes after losing all that weight. That was a dramatic change in itself. But this guy he didn’t want to keep his shirt on all the time. So, we wanted to get him as I said the piece beach ready and I think we did. But good point, only two months after surgery, obviously, he has red incisions. Those are going to get a lot better in time. Dr. Travis Stork: So, I want to remind everyone one last time of Danny presurgery. So, you’re looking at that and I think you see that you want to show off your new body, right? Danny Cahill: Yeah, I can’t even remember what -- I mean when I see that, I’m like, “That was me just a couple of months ago” and I can’t even remember being that. It’s crazy. Dr. Drew Ordon: Because he had been working out, his tone was very good, his abdominal muscles which we did have to sew up. Dr. Travis Stork: So, enough already, guys. Who wants to see Danny’s new abdomen? You know what? We normally don’t have the striptease on the show but today, I think it’s time to be superman. [Voice Overlap] Danny Cahill: All right, Superman moment, here we go! [Voice Overlap] Dr. Travis Stork: And I want to show everyone again, just let’s do a quick before and after because it’s truly remarkable. I think even more so Danny if you turn just a little bit to the side. I want to show everyone in profile how -- Dr. Drew Ordon: Huge improvement in here. You see how we went all the way around in here in the chest, we went all the way around, we took it to the table. Danny Cahill: I’m just blown away at the results. I mean when you guys told me that it was going to look -- I didn’t know it was going to look this good. Dr. Travis Stork: And it’s only going to look better, right gentlemen? Dr. Chopra: Couple more months, you’re going to look great, do a little laser to the scars. Danny Cahill: Yeah. Dr. Chopra: You’re going to be perfect. Dr. Drew Ordon: This is about what we removed for you. You know we figured it out somewhere around ten pounds. But it was more the square footage of skin that we removed from the abdomen and from the chest at the same time. Dr. Travis Stork: And now, there are things, Danny, this is the curiosity, I think when you lose that much weight, when you have all that excess skin, are there still things that you can’t really do the way you want to that you can do now? Danny Cahill: Definitely. I mean, with just simply running. I mean, I ran a marathon on the show and then before we came to do the surgery, I ran Boston Marathon. Now, I’m ready to run the third marathon without this because now when I run, it’s not all going crazy. I mean, you know when you -- I felt like -- like I said, I would think people were cheering for me and it was my skin flapping together. Dr. Travis Stork: The one thing I want to point out that’s fascinating for me watching the video of the surgery. I’m sure everyone here as well. You actually take the nipples and move them. Dr. Drew Ordon: You see in a man, typically, when we do breast reduction or lifting in a woman, we keep the nipple areola attached to tissue below to preserve bud supply. You don’t want to do that in a man because that will leave you with breast tissue, that there’ll be a mound that’ll be projecting. You want a nice, flat surface in the chest. That’s why we removed the nipples as a free graft and put it back on and this is going to continue to get better. I mean you really can’t see that incision. That looks awesome. Dr. Travis Stork: Remarkable. Danny Cahill: You know that was one of my biggest -- Dr. Drew Ordon: Come on, flex those pads for us. There you go. I knew that you can do that. Dr. Travis Stork: Danny, thank you so much. Danny Cahill: Thank you. Dr. Travis Stork: You look absolutely fabulous. Danny Cahill: I appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
