that was good but david changes both cards (5 5) to a different suit and # (J J) so he needs more than three cards plus i found out how it works and you need at least 4 cards no duplicates are needed

David Blaine Card Trick Revealed

Alright, I figured out how David Blaine does his really cool magic trick where he swaps cards with someone’s card in their hand. What he does is he has one card and another card and then he has a duplicate of the first card but I have do not have another red deck so I just have use blue for this—let me show you how it is done. He stacks them like that and at first he does a double lift like this and shows that the top card—it is not really the top card but you think it is and then he puts it on top, and he tells you to hold in your hand. Let us say that is their hand. And then he does another double lift and says, “This is the other top card,” and he puts it back and he takes this card and he waves it over your hand like this and then magically swaps like that. And here is what it looks like—I am not very good at it, so just bear with me.
