Shalom! My name is Danica and I am going to do a quick eye make-up tutorial today on everyday eye make-up look. I have already practice my eye area, bottom and top using a light eye cream. Next step, is applying eye shadow base, and I am going to actually use my fingers, instead of using a brush, because your fingers is give a little warmth to the product. The product smooths on a lot better and is easier to work with. I am using NARS the Multiple in South Beach. I am going to start by applying on my lid, tabbing it on and then, moving slightly into the crease area.
My next step is to put a little highlight on my brow bone. I will start by applying Max dazzle light right underneath my brow arch. Now, that I highlighted my brow bone, I am ready to carve out my crease area. Today, I have chosen Foley, which is the Mac texture. When you are applying color on the crease area, you always use a Mac texture. Back and forth to apply the color, and once you achieved the desired amount of color you can go back and make circular motions to blend this out.
Now, I will go back and use a bigger flat brush to blend out my color and I will go right on the edge of the color. First, is right in the middle of the crease, where I want to see my darkness and back and forth just to blend it out. We can apply a little bit of an eyelid color. I am going to use Mac eye shadow and all the glitters, right in the middle of the eyelid. For every your brush first touches down, as were get your most color.
Now, I am going to define my eyebrows a little bit. I typically use Mac eye shadow and mystery. I prefer eye shadow versus an eyebrow pencil, because it has a softer look. Now, if you watch here this is my favorite way to shading a brow. Start at the very bottom of the brow and you create a flawless line. We will take that a flawless line and its push the color up into the brown. Now, it is time to give us a little more of an arch, so we will go again underneath the brow, maybe a little on top of the brow and will teat a little bit, it is okay to give yourself more of an arch. So, raise that arch, now we will finish with the tail, you do not want to see a perfect line here, so make sure that you use just a small amount of shadow. Okay, there is my finish eyebrow, and you can take your brow brush and brush slightly to lighten the color that you choose okay. Now, it is like that is given me more about a frames work with my face.
Now, it is time for eyeliner and then we will go over contouring for the eyelid. I am going to use the same brush that we use for the eye shadow color, which is the Mac 263; again it is synthetic so I always use it from my Mac fluid line. Fluid line is a liquid liner that is waterproof and it is last all day. So, when applying liquid liner, you can always start a little bit of product, it is easier to add rather than to take away. So, start on the very outer edge of the eye and then you work your way in. In any areas that you feel maybe are not so perfect, go back and almost tap right on top of them to create more the flawless line. Make sure you are even, make sure both eyes look the same and take in this eye a little bit, perfect.
Now, it is time to add a little contour, using a—I am using black and probably I recommend darker brown or maybe a purple, depending on which color palate you are using. Now, I am using the Mac 263 brush, which is again small angled brush for perfect for powder. Starting right on the very edge of our liquid minor, again my brush is like an arrow, so the one that is pointed that brush is out to where I am working towards. I am going to shape just on the very outer edge of the lid up into the crease area. Rather than use a pencil or liquid, I use powder underneath my eye, it is almost creating a natural shadow effects.
Now, we will take a little powder through the crease and almost round eyelid. This is almost like a contour for the eye and I am using the same brush, the angle brush. Now, I will take art lines, we do not have any harsh lines and we will drag that color out slightly. Now, I am going to make sure that are blended, we will use our blending brush. Just on the very outer edge to make sure we have clean and soft lines and you can see that eye compare to this eye. Most women with stop at this, but this definitely helps to give a little bit more drama. Maybe drama is not for you, but this is fun for making yourself look finished everyday. Still soften at for day time it is definitely gives a little more drama.
Now, my favorite part is curling my lashes. I love this Shu Uemura, lash curler, so make sure you get all of your lashes in there and squeeze 1-2-3. Next eye 1-2-3, what this does is opens up your eyes. It brings your lashes out. And I am a little picky but I use 2 mascaras, one is just separate and give me definition that it is does not clamp at all is the Mac X mascara. And, it built this one quite a bit, just to give some product. After, I have done with this I typically go back into volumizing mascara. If you are really into the lashes, I would definitely take the time and do two mascaras. If it is not such a focus for you, one is just fine. Do not forget your bottom lashes, perfect. Now, go back into a little Dior shows that best volumizing mascara in the market and the black is black and we will go back in our little drama. Okay, I think that is good it is not clumpy it is something stands out. I think the worst in is the clumpy mascara. Too much mascara does not look good for anybody.
Now, my last job that I can never ever wait for is concealer. Concealer is another one of those products that I always use my finger for. And, it is somewhat rare to recommend using a finger over a brush. But to top in a concealer, a very moisturizing concealer versus a not moisturizing concealer is so much more natural. So tap it in, tap it in, this way you are not rubbing away product and your brushes are not absorbing any products, as well. So again, tap it in your getting the full effect out of that concealer. Cover any darkness that you may have tap, tap, tap… A little around my nose around my lips and if you had any redness through your T-zone, you can definitely put a little through there, as well.
Okay, now it is looks about right and that concludes our eye make-up tutorial. Maybe a little more than everyday, but it is definitely a good finish look and you will get a lot of complements on your eye make-up. Thank you for watching my tutorial and stay tune for more.
