Hi! I am Thom Filicia from Dress My Nest and I am here to answer some of your emails and dispel some common design myths. Donna Jo from San Francisco, California writes, I love in a house full of guys, but they feel out of place, because I have designed everything with floral patterns I love. How can I add a man's touch to my interior design without compromising my current motif? Donna Jo, why is it that you live with so many man and floral motif? Things that make you go, hmm. Anyways, I would recommend that bringing in a floral motif is fine, but there are floral motifs and then there are floral or organic motifs. My recommendations to you is to mix some of your florals with beautiful modern organics with trees and different elements of nature that you love that are also modern and crisp enough that all of your many boyfriends will also enjoy as well.
