Big Think is a global forum connecting people and ideas. It may be a cliché to say that knowledge is power, but that doesn’t make the statement any less true. We know that there are just 24 hours in a day, that you are bombarded with information, and that the bombardment will only escalate. We believe that not all information is equal. We believe that expertise is invaluable and should be shared. If you had a heart problem and could afford the counsel of the world’s leading cardiologists, you would seek their advice. If you owned a business and wanted to expand into China or Russia, you’d want to hear from people who had already done that. At Big Think, we put you in contact with the ideas of very smart people. We do not believe that experts have all the answers. On many subjects deep thinkers disagree. We do believe that we will all make better decisions in our personal and professional lives if our thinking is informed by expert opinion.

Deepak inspires me in so many wonderful ways. I can listen to his voice all day no matter what the topic, however, this particular topic does interest me greatly and I have found this short video most helpful. It is always a pleasure to listen to how he so eloquantly describes the sometimes simple yet always profound truths of our existance. I am eternally grateful to the universe for blessing us with such a beautiful mind! :)
