Big Think is a global forum connecting people and ideas. It may be a cliché to say that knowledge is power, but that doesn’t make the statement any less true. We know that there are just 24 hours in a day, that you are bombarded with information, and that the bombardment will only escalate. We believe that not all information is equal. We believe that expertise is invaluable and should be shared. If you had a heart problem and could afford the counsel of the world’s leading cardiologists, you would seek their advice. If you owned a business and wanted to expand into China or Russia, you’d want to hear from people who had already done that. At Big Think, we put you in contact with the ideas of very smart people. We do not believe that experts have all the answers. On many subjects deep thinkers disagree. We do believe that we will all make better decisions in our personal and professional lives if our thinking is informed by expert opinion.

He is wrong, it is not constantly evolving, I just keeps dividing, which is not good. Believe in the simplicity of Christ's word on the mount and there would not be any strife in the world. The fact that his word was hi-jacked is obvious. God Bless

"Differences in communicating" There are absolute differences between all religions. Jesus being the most outright. Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism regard him as a prophet, a moral teacher, or some good person. Christianity, however, believes that he was God incarnate, and came down to die for the sins of the world so that those who accept him as Lord and Savior will inherit eternal life, and through him only. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me"

There is an historical account of Jesus found in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). He was a Jewish carpenter who lived 2000 years ago, spoke Aramaic, and died at age 33.

He said that a Guatemalan would think of Jesus as a Mexican. I think he lumped those two nationalities together in his mind.
