Delicious Steak Sauce

You can turn a basic steak into a new impressive dinner with a simple pan sauce. Now I’ve already cook my steak and you’ll notice that it left behind this brown bits, this is where were going to get the flavor for our pan sauce. So we’ll just place this back on the stove top over medium heat. There’s any fun in the pan. You can just pour that out. I’ll add a little bit of butter, some chop shallots, I have trouble finding shallots. You can use a little bit of mince tread onion. As the shallots cooked, you’re going to want to scrape up these delicious brown bits from the bottom of the pan.

All right, next we’re going to deglaze the pan. That just means we’re going to add some alcohol. Make sure that we get all the flavor up. I like to use red wine but you can also use white if that’s what you had on. I’m going to let that reduce by half, next I’m going to add the beef stock, cooked that down for about another minute or so. Last we’re going to swirl in some butter. Turn the heat off. Just give the pan a little shake. Last we’ll season it with a little salt and your pan sauce is ready. Dinner is ready. Check that tomorrow for more 60 seconds solutions.
