Sony is expected to standardized eBook formats, Google homepage and reader get more social

Facebook launch the new search function that will let you search the site for people,
organizations or public figures. You will also be able to search for content within those pages
such as new speed, activity, photos and videos. You can also search a topic such as eRun and see
what people who are your friends are saying about that. Only small group of tester will be in on
this function but hopefully it works because current Facebook search is just not that far. China
has back down from the mandate to install filtering software on all PC’s. the government have
been facing legal challenges, petitions and moocher over the law that all PC’s would have to
come with the program called Green Dam Youth Escort which would filter out all websites that
the government deemed in appropriate. The software will still be pre installed or compact in the
CD with all PC’s sold on the mainland from July 1st onward but you can uninstall it or just not
install it. This is the small but significant victory for anti-censorship in China.
Joost launch the new Play Station 3 program that let’s you navigate through Joost shows on the
PS3 using your controller. This is the Joost labs project they’re not completely ready for
primetime just yet to try out for yourself go to the network icon on your PS3, open the browser
and go to labs.joost.com/tv. Gmail now recognize its contact information from other
applications, this means you can import contacts from outlook or OS10 address book into your
Gmail. This may seem like a small thing but I actually think it’s pretty awesome. Not only
doesn’t know email address, phone number and name it also recognizes his birthday and what
site addresses. iTunes still sinks with the Palm Pre but Apple does not seem to be okay with that.
The company’s support site now has a little disclaimer that reads. Apple does not provide
support for or test for compatibility with none Apple digital media players and because software
changes overtime newer versions of Apples, iTunes software may no longer provide sinking
functionality with none Apple Digital Media Players. And gadgets points out the disabling
compatibility with the pre would be harder than just the simple software upgrade though. Palm
Spokesperson Lynn Fox responded to the statements saying, If Apple choices to disable media
sync in a future version of iTunes it will be a direct flow to there users who will be deprive of a
seamless synchronization experience. Then again you could just not upgrade iTunes ever.
Tomorrow is the iPhone 3GS launch and I have a lot to say about that, first of why I preordered
the iPhone at the full price if AT&T was going to change its mind about subsidizing pricing. The
company now says that iPhone costumers who are eligible for upgrade in July, August or
September like me can get a subsidized price so now I have to go and get that money back if it’s
doesn’t adjust on my credit card which I’m thinking that probably well. Also AT&T is saying
that the new iPhone software will automatically connect to AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots without
bagging you with the do you want to connect to this network prompt that is nice. And a viewer
name Yaniton wrote saying that the iPhone is coming to Israel and he was pretty excited about
that. As usual CNET TV will be covering the launch of iPhone 3GS so stay phone all day
tomorrow for that.
So long Intel Centrino hardly new yeah! The company announce that it is rebranding its chip
names which is definitely a good thing because they’re renaming conventions are confusing. The
Centrino is no longer a PC brand of chips it will refer only to mobile chips that work with Wi-Fi
or Wi-Max. PC chips will be simplified into an entry level core i3 a mid level core i5 and a high
level core i7. That’s fine by me but if they’re really trying to implying names so that consumers
know the significance why level them 3, 5, and 7 what so wrong with 1, 2 and 3 or A, B, C. The
German Government wants to ban all video games where the main part is to realistically play the
killing of people or other cruel or in human acts of violence against human or man like
characters. The ban would make it illegal not only to buyer sell violent games but also to develop
them. The impedes for the propose bill was the teenage gun man who killed several people
earlier this year. Of course the connection between violent video games and violent behavior is
highly controversial; you are free to email me on where you stand on this. Still this definition is
very broad it would ban almost all game from the market these days.

challenges such as texting blindfolded, texting while going to an obstacle course and texting with
complete grammar, spelling and punctuation. Kate send up to 470 text per day but she says that a

AT&T turns off its broadband TV service, we have photos of a Dell smart phone and Google

It has not than good week for Boxee users, an update to the Apple TV yesterday breaks
compatibility with there party add on like Boxee. It looks like Apple finally cut on to the media
center software and decided they do not want you to watch cool online videos on your TV so if
you want to keep your Boxee going don’t upgrade your Apple TV firmware. Netflix more or less
confirm that it will begin offering the streaming only service. Rumors about they started
circulating last week and the company CFO Barry McCartney discuss it on Wednesday, he said
were like to do that and the foreseeable future which stands promising to me. It would mean that
you can’t get a Netflix account without ever having to get a physical DVD in the mail you just
subscribe to stream the movies in the Netflix blog instantly application.
Microsoft is taking Tomtom to court for pattern infringement, the company releases the
statement on Wednesday same they have filed an action against the GPS Company for infringing
an intellectual property related to in car navigation technology and other computing
functionality. The statement implied that they had tried to settle out of court but in agreement
could not be reaching. There were no details about specifically which technology was infringe
but I’m guessing it has to do with Microsoft sink.
Alaska Airlines is joining the ranks of airlines that offer in flight Wi-Fi, this will be a satellite
base service from a company called Row 44. It will be free for the first 60 days while being
tasted in flight between settle and San Jose if the trial is successful it will be rolled out to the
airlines entire flight but it won’t be free. If you get on one of this flight do a speed test and send
us your results load it at cnet.com. On Tuesday Gmail was down for 2 ½ hours, users of the
Google Apps premiers of service are being compensated the whole $2 and 5 cents for there time.
According to the terms of service you should also get an extra three days of service but Google
will extend that to 15 days out of there own generosity. In more Gmail news the company has
added a new feature, this time you have the option of moving the inbox count before the word
Gmail in the title bar of your browser. So if you have a bunch of tabs open you can easily see
how many unread emails you have.
A few weeks back we mentioned of the, I am reach application that was available for a modest
$999 on iTunes, it was basically away for reach people to prove that they had money to burn and
socially network with like minded posters. As you can imagine few people were amused and it
was fold from iTunes apps stare pretty quickly. Now the app has weird its pretentious head in the
android market but the developers have apparently learn there lesson, they lower the price to
$200 what bargain. If your laptop installing you maybe able to set it to irritate the heck out of the
teeth until they either destroy it or bring it back to you. A program by front door software called
Retriever will flash a really annoying yellow message on your laptop screen every 30 seconds if
the machine has been reported stolen. It will also say out loud stolen laptop over and over and
over again this cannot be turn off unless you log in to the website and disconnect it yourself. The
laptop itself will know it’s stolen because you have reported it on the website and when the
machine is turn on it will look for near by Wi-Fi signals in order to push out the message the
program cost $30. Well it certainly is a deterrent for thief is it really going to get someone to
bring you your computer back what do you expect the laptop on your doorstep with the note it
says, sorry I try to use it but it bug the crap so I’m getting it back not likely. Those are your

And even if some people are disappointed by it’s lack of features a change way of survey shows

the Math correctly Apple will sale 100 billion iPods, not really but you know actually they might

13th city test on 3G performance for download speeds, upload speeds and reliability. AT&T is
touted there consent road of network upgrades and you can see some of the improvements for
some of those cities compared to there test last spring.

13 cities but does this and will this change of mind about AT&T and using future devices on

multiple windows everywhere. Would it be nice if we could just keep as specific window like
our chat or Hulo on top no matter what, well that’s why I’m here and will show you a free
solution for both your Mac and PC. Now, for the Mac checkout this utility from infinite labs
called a flow. Once it install you will see new window management options available to you with
this cloud icon. I’m in iChat right now and I’m constantly getting IM while I’m working but I
hate switching between apps to get to them. Go to window in the menu bar and select keep a
float. Now no matter what app I’m working in it stays on top and for all your hot key kings press
control command and A to use this feature, you can also make the windows translucent and then
turn a pick when you using it so that’s a pretty cool feature. Form a PC pips, check out the desk
pins utility from Alias Fontenies once installed you can access by clicking its icon on the
notifications area of your task bar. You see a little contact and if I want to make sure I can see
this entire episodes for Jolo without anything getting then away I click on it to pin it and its stays
on top of any other app I’m using. And if you want to be hot key freak control and F11 brings up
the pin and control in F12 removing. So there is your how to tip for keeping the windows you
want on top of everything else use it wisely.

considered overtly sexual. Some of the apps include photos of women in bikinis or lingerie how
can you say that, I don’t even knows what that is. But one of the Applebytes own after the week
wobble was taking down as well so what if you can make body part giggle is done any pictures
of women in the app so while they took down those apps hold some family apps like sport
illustrated swimsuit challenge and playboy are still alive and kicking on the apps store. Apple,
you may want to protect your image and as fell show it will said in the New York Times, put the
needs of kids and parents firs were you guys are idiot really it’s comforting to know that father
jobs and the rest of you will always be looking out for us in the apps store. Maybe in explicit
section four apps with another password and actually allowing adults and parent decide what
content is acceptable for there kids and themselves to access makes more sense but you know
that would just be too hard programs and guess what we’re still in out the bad apple.
