Yes, he's doing what the little boy did in the movie I just watched "August Rush". Really different sound, remarkable!

I'm unclear on what is wrong with the normal way to hold a guitar; it seemed to work fine for 1000 years or so... also, his necklace is clearly fake.

The comments on this video calling it a fake are further proof that organized genocide isn't always a bad thing.

Um, for those saying that this is "Photoshopped&q uot;... Well, you do realize that Photoshop is an IMAGE MANIPULATION program. Considering that this is a video, and videos do indeed run at a standardized rate of 29.97 frames per second (fps), then considering that this video is a length of 2 minutes and 50 seconds (30f*170s), you would have to manipulate, or, “Photoshop” (as some of you like to say) a total of 5,100 DIFFERENT PICTURES. On top of this, please keep in mind that Photoshop is a STILL image editor, and you have got one of two options left: Either, 1) The person whom made this video is the most talented Photoshop artist in the world, bar none… Or, 2) Incompetent people should quit using terms they are wholly unfamiliar with, to try and prove a point with which they have no evidence to disprove. The End.

My guess, if you look at it applying the laws of physics (You know, the laws that apply to the whole fucking world) its very possible. Like someone said, this is just a very awesome display of knowledge of harmonics. Looks like a open pipe, and just you know, nodes and antinodes. He changes the postion of his left hand before he strikes, thus creating a different harmonic, and it sounds awesome.

This isn't fake spedheads, the sounds your hearing are called harmonics and if you played guitar you'd know how to make them, plus everything is made easier because it's hooked up to an amplifier - you can see the lead coming out the back of the guitar. Andy Mckee plays in a similar fashion, look up "Drifting" by Andy Mckee on youtube.

It's funny reading some of the comments about this being fake or fucking photoshopped. It's not impossible to do this, it's actually very possible. I'm a music major and I've seen people I know do stuff like this. Oh wait, I mean it's magic.

"At the 1:24 mark, you can obviously see a girl in the audience wearing pink. she's conducting the whole thing with backstage performers." She is turning her head and coughing you Gomer. Talk about being more observant.

Wow, for everyone who thinks this is real, you're all ignorant fools. No instrument on this earth can make those kinds of noises. At the 1:24 mark, you can obviously see a girl in the audience wearing pink. she's conducting the whole thing with backstage performers. You guys need to be more observant. I'm flagging this video as inappropriate.
