Daddy Brad: Welcome back to The Lounge. We are here in beautiful downtown Austin, Texas at Freddie’s Place. We are out on the deck, we are under the tree, we are having cold drinks, some appetizers and we are talking about parenting. I am Daddy Brad.
Daddy Owen: I am Daddy Owen. Welcome back, good to see you.
Daddy Clay: I am Daddy Clay. This is the show where we ask questions of experienced parents and get their opinions on parenting issues of the day. This week’s question is—
Daddy Brad: If you are stuck on a desert island with your kids and you only had one DVD and a DVD player and somewhere to hook it up so you can watch the DVD, what DVD would you have?
Daddy Brad: If one DVD, one DVD, which DVD would you choose?
Male: You know, for me it would be Talladega Nights.
Daddy Brad: How about you, what do you want?
Male: The Parent Trap.
Male: I am going to pick a kid video, yes because otherwise, they will be like “Daddy entertain me! Chase me!”
Daddy Brad: Yes.
Male: Midnight Express.
Daddy Clay: That is not Midnight Express. That is Horn Express.
Male: What is Midnight Express?
Daddy Clay: That is the prison one with Mike Davies where he is like in a Turkish prison.
Male: I can just have a DVD of movie trailers, that would be the sucky part for 20 minutes at least. Your whole life you can watch movies trailers and see everything.
Daddy Clay: There is something really, really depressing about that assertion.
Female: Something with short segments so that we can watch little bits and not get bored, so I would pick one of the Muppet Show DVD’s.
Male: I would take a blank one because a blank one reflects better to flash in an airplane going overhead.
Daddy Owen: Oh, that is such a naive hope.
Male: Well, what do I need a player for? I do not need a player because where would I plug it in?
Daddy Clay: All right, I think that is all for this Lounge.
