Hi, this is Francisco Bujan from vitalcoaching.com. We are talking about working up your power, and the topic for this video is Destroy your To Do List. Why? I mean, if you have a list of things that you know you will have to do, why would you like to destroy that one? Why would you like to get rid of it? Well, you get rid of it because, you know, having it in front of you all the time for days, maybe months, or maybe years, it is a burden actually. You know it is a pressure; it is a “to do list”.
It is something that you are supposed to be doing that you should be doing. It does not come from emotions; it does not come from passion, or desires, or from excitement. It is something that you are supposed to be doing, and, okay, this one is not universal okay. In some circumstances, it is very good to have to do list to kind of clarify your boss and your targets and that can be true.
In many circumstances though, I would see people accommodating things they have to do without taking action. And, the reason why they do not take action is because, once they put it down, it becomes something which is almost boring or; not that exactly. It is something that they are supposed to be doing but it does not have any emotional thrill or emotional content in it.
So, what if you just get rid of your “to do list”, right, there is no to do list, there is nothing that you should be doing, there is only one thing to focus on, is what is exactly, right now, at that moment. I need to start focusing on just by taking action in the direction of what thrills you, rather than what you are supposed to be doing. So, this destroys your “to do list”; one of the key five stress free strategies that you can stop applying or stop doing.
I will mention the other ones, you know, in another video, maybe. But, that is one of the key and the answer, or the key steps that you can take that are going to free your mind. Why? Because, when you have a “to do list”, again, it is there written. It is something that forces you to focus on something that, again it does not have that type of emotional or excitement that you lack to have in your life.
So, get rid of your “to do list” and focus on what thrills you instead. Okay, I hope this makes sense, take care, and have a great day, bye-bye.
