Male Speaker: I met Sherrie; her chronic breathing issues were becoming very serious. We wasted no time and I got her right into surgery as quick as possible.

Male Speaker: Today is Sherrie's big day. We are going to do a major nasal reconstruction for her. Alright, it is show time. So you are now going to start to see me removing crooked pieces of bone and cartilage. That's her deviated septum. This is a gnarly piece of bone. The fact that it was sitting on the left side of her airway is what was causing all of that problem.
The next step I have to push over those turbinates. The turbinates sit on the outer wall of the nose. I have got to push those over to create a nasal airway. I am actually crunching these turbinates.
We are now going to dress the cosmetic parts. This is the only incision that we make on the outside of the nose. So I am knocking off her hump, this is the money move right here. Angled scissor, that was her bump; that's going to look great. The bump is gone; she has a nice defining dip in front of her tip, nice, straight bridge, beautiful!
