Dexim BluePack S3 - Tech Review Hey guys, what’s up David here IPT2G Gig and today I had a review to do for you guys. Now this review is brought to you from Dexim as you can see right there on the box. This product is the Bluepack S3 for the iPhone and iPod. Now it’s also, compatible with all USB charged devices, compatible with blackberry, T-mobile G1 aswell HTC phones. Now, before we go ahead and open this I just want to-sorry I already opened, but before we go on ahead and actually get to the review, we’re going to go ahead and read you some facts of this. Now it is made of a 2600 milliamps polymer lithium ION battery. It extends 10 hours for talking time. So, if you’re on iPhone or just a regular phone. It has 20 hours of video playing time, that’s like watching 10 movies on your iPhone or your iPod without even having to charge it. Obviously, you’re charging it. You just got to plug it into this. It alSo, extends the battery life for 80 hours of music playing time. Guys that is ridiculous. This has serious power. So, let’s go on ahead and open this. This product does sell for $69.90. And let’s go ahead and set this right over here and here you have your battery pack. Over here you just use your manuals and some warranty stuff. Here is the cable to charge your battery pack and now to give you a little detail which is pretty cool. It’s a little thing with that’s on blog on and nothing special sticker. Also guys, what come in it are an AC adapter. Now guys this is really cool because now you can charge your iPhone or your iPod onto your wall because apple doesn’t include this anymore which really pisses me off because you end up charging your device to your computer everytime which doesn’t work for me because sometimes I don’t even want to turn on my computer just to be charging my iPod, So, this is cool. Also guys, no matter where you live you can use this because see you can take out the part that actually goes int your wall and just put on a different one depending on where you live. For me, because I live in the US, I just got hour of regular one on which you can call it but as simple as that just pop it in and out. Over here which is really nice for them to include is trying out I guess. Then on the back you get some cables overhere is a standard one to charge your iPod or your iPhone. Now this is compatible with your iPhone 3G, your regular iPhone most likely compatible with you iPhone 3Gs it doesn’t say it don’t say anything aboout the iPhone 3GS but I’m sure it is compatible for all iPod models except for the shuffle. So, here is some more charging cables as you can see they all are USB and then you got your mini USB as well as this one plus your web got one is. Let’s go and get into the review guys. This is a great product. First of which is very cool. You’ve got a flashlight much like the richer solo battery packs. I don’t know if you know or ever heard it rich and solo but on their previewed company I’ve never viewed of their products but I’m sure this gives out much more power than any of their products So, let’s turn it off you just go ahead and hold that button down for two seconds. It’s this buttons that I’m talking about guys also, you see three LEDs right there. So, I’ll press that and that tells you how much battery life is left in this. If they’re all lit up of course, you have fairly good charge. I think it’s their all lit up it’s 80 to 100% I’m not sure that the other ones but yeah. So, that’s pre-much here guys. Now let’s go ahead and show you how this actually works. I’m running a short of time or yeah 5 minutes So, let’s go ahead and and get into this. So, let’s take my iPod off the scrabble and you can either use the short little cable that they gave you or the one that apple gives you when you buy one of their products. I like to use this just because it matches better you got black and black, black and white although white may match good but also, this is nice and short for like if you’re traveling or something you can use this, just nice. So, you just go ahead and plug it in like you normally would and then you take the blue pack and then what you’ll do is just plug it in straight over there. And I’m sure you heard that. It’s now charging. I’ll go ahead and show you up there, you got that little charging logo in the upper right hand corner. Now this does charged all other devices that these cords came going to. So, for an example, let me just go ahead and show you. I brought out my old razor, I don’t know if it’s still on. Yeah, it’s still on. So, I actually was charging this with this blue pack so, what’s just going to do is find the right cord that they give you. I’ll go ahead and take off this -- really quick. It’s nice. I like this. It keeps it nice and clean so you don’t have long wires going everywhere. So, I’m just going to get the cord that we use for the razor, it’s the mini usb. All you got to do is plug that straight on it. Plug the male and of the USB cord into the female and as you can see, it does say unauthorized charger. However, it is charging it before I started to charge this with the blue pack. It was completely dead and now, I’ll show you guys. Now it’s fully charged. So, this blue pack is amazing and it’s really. I don’t know if I’ve said this, $69.90 from texin.net Click on the video description over there so, it might be a little pricey but it is totally worth it guys. Another thing to charge this all you’ve gotta do is use this nice long cable that they gave you. Go ahead and plug in your 5 Volt DC part of the wire see on in to the part where it goes in on the blue pack. Once you’ve plugged it in, you can either charge this through your computer with this USB, male USB cord and whatever. You can go ahead and plug that in to the computer or you can charge this through your wall outlet. Then here you got two spaces. You can go ahead and plug both of them in if you want. When you plug them both in, it just allows it to charge faster. So, I’m guessing probably about double the speed that it would normally takes to charge and then when you’re done or when you are charging, you go ahead and plug this into your wall. You’ll see these LEDs light up 1 2 3. They’re all be lit up and won’t go off I’ll just keep repeating them. When it’s completely charged, they’ll all just light up and flash. Let’s see. I think that’s pretty much odder is. Only got about 50 seconds left to talk about this. I really really really highly recommend this if you travel a lot. This could be perfect on an airplane. The LED light would come in handy. Maybe if you’re in your car and its night time and your battery in your car went dead or something like that. It would definitely help you. It’s very, very bright surprisingly. So that, I think that’s pretty much all I’ve have to say about this. Thank You Dexim, thank you candy for sending this out to me. I really really appreciate it.
