Could you tell me when having home dialysis how come you cant do it when it's in your arm and if your about 100 kilos would you be able to have it in your stomach

Charlie: Okay, my name is Charlie, and I am 66 years old, I am from Freeport, I would like to know more about dialysis at home? Brad Rovin: Home dialysis Charlie in general refers to a type of dialysis treatment that we call peritoneal dialysis. This involves putting a catheter into the abdomen and using the patient's own peritoneal cavity which is aligning around the intestines to do dialysis. This is in an effective form and allows patients to maintain their active life style and additional form of home dialysis, which is becoming increasingly popular, is doing hemodialysis at home. This is the same kind as we do in the centers using the blood and an artificial kidney on a machine and with the partner at home this can readily be accomplished.
