Dr. Samadi: When you compare, this is a study that compared to open laparoscopic and robotic surgery and you can see the operating room time is much less at Sinai, partly again by having the same team in the operating room, same surgeon, same robot; it's almost having your own baseball team, it's interesting. Everyone is in their positions, knowing what their duties are and that's why I can do the whole operation completely without any difficulty.
Dr. Simon Hall: Well, I could just make a comment because a lot of people ask me, well, Dr. Samadi says he can do it in less than 2 hours and does that include before the robot or is it only after the robot is engaged and when the robot leaves and there is still some other work to be done? No, absolutely not; I think no question having, the 2 hours includes start to finish when the patient goes to sleep until they are woken up. So ultimately, for those of you who are thinking of starting out, in order to do this, you really need a good team to really make this successful.
Dr. Samadi: And that's a very excellent point. You don't want to be left alone without having people in the operating room, that know exactly what you need.
