Dick: Well, a lot of things. Practical uses of the axe involve such things as making a pair of V logs to cook on when you do not have usual of kind of grades. You will see on the DVD in another segment. Or building a tripod to dry clothes on, it is much more safer way to dry your clothes that to put them on a stick and hold them close to the fire where chance scorching them are very high.
Then we can makes stakes that are more appropriate for the terrain than the one have comes with tent or maybe putting them in like we did with the tent, and after you make stake, you use the back of the axe dry them into ground Then, we chop a V into a log to hold the wood that we are about to split before it goes on to our good old fire.
