Disc Golf Tutorial

I am Tom Schot, CEO World Disc Sports, I am here at the De LaVeaga Disc Golf Course, Santa Cruz, one of the greatest courses in the world. I am going to be taking you along and show you how to play Disc golf, some of the basic rules. I have been a world champion. In fact, I am in the Disc Golf Hall of Fame. This is my sport. I have done it; I have got the passion for it. I love this game and when I am done, you are going to be loving the game too. The things I am going to be teaching you guys today is that we are going to do basic throws. We are going to learn the etiquette of the game. We are going to learn what kind of equipment you need to play with, and just to come out and find the passion that I have for disc golf. Everybody can do it. It is an easy game to play. The thing I think about disc golf, the one thing is it's one sport that you can improve very fast. In six months you will be coming out here, throwing the disc, maybe even getting par on some of the holes. Before we get started, I am going to show you the kind of equipment that you need to have a good successful round of disc golf.
