Male Speaker: What is called discoid lupus, what’s that?

Female Speaker: Discoid is generally dress the skin. We don’t see it lot in pediatrics but that’s a scaring kind of rash.

Male Speaker: Was it at the face usually?

Female Speaker: It can be the face or at extremities, it’s often photosensitive so it’s related to sun exposure and that one leaves the scar behind the place they appear.

Male speaker: We still watch out the discoid going to become systemic.

Female Speaker: It usually does not but there are forms that look like discoid called subacute lupus and those are affecting the skin a great deal and could become systemic lupus also.
