Discover Keystone Resort in Colorado
This is the only major resort in Colorado to offer night skiing. Hi, I am Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchomojo.com and today, we will be profiling the Keystone Resort. One of Colorado’s many ski destinations, Keystone resort was founded in 1970. Nestled in a valley, the area boasts the traditional feel of an alpine village.
Keystone boasts four ski areas, Dercum Mountain, North Peak, The Outback and Independence Bowl.
Dercum is great for beginners and intermediate. North Peak is perfect for skiers who seek long bumpy trails. The Outback is the areas tallest mountain and features bumps, groom trails and powder. Independence Bowl is unique because of the amount of snow it collects, plus it features some very steep sections.
Almost half of the resort’s total trails are considered difficult. However, Keystone has something for everyone. Snow tubing and snow biking are both great ways to see the view and ice skating is another way to take in the fresh mountain air.
