Flying high over Jerusalem, feeling the enormous energy radiating from the worlds most amazing city, feeling the life, flow and rhythm of the metropolis with all its sites, roads and residents and knowing that down there was a city of endless possibilities with everything the new millennium has to offer.
I came to Jerusalem and saw the people, the residents, the visitors, the multitudes of tourists who are making a lifelong dream come true. Every alley every corner alive. They are all my friends even if we’ve never met or never will. An overwhelming feeling of good will embraces all who visit Jerusalem.
“We are planning the development of more and more green spaces for Jerusalem. Playgrounds for children, as well as parks and gardens. We are concerned with the quality of life and the environment. Green is good for the eyes and the soul.”
Jerusalem is one of the world’s most important cultural capitals. It would take a lifetime to encompass the wide range of attractions the city has to offer. Everything from the ancient to the futuristic can be found at Jerusalem’s dozens of museum. The Israel Museum, the largest of its kind in the world contains art treasures along side model reconstructions of lost Jewish communities. Children visiting the city will enjoy the Science Museum an international attraction where they can spend days discovering the marvels of the ancient and modern world.
Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo is an outstanding attraction for everyone. From animal lovers to zoological researchers and scientists and of course, children and their parents will come to enjoy a day surrounded by nature.
Jerusalem’s many art and film festivals converge in a landscape of beauty and culture and this, the world’s most fascinating city.
The Jewish world and at its heart Israel; Israel and its heart Jerusalem. Jerusalem, the city to which all Jewish eyes turn for inspiration.

All the latest fashions, everything I can dream of I found in the shops of Jerusalem. The markets, the promenade and the malls, the charming cafés and world renowned gourmet restaurants, the unique Jerusalem menu or even the special blend of coffee is an icon of culinary excellence. Everyone can find that special aroma right here in Jerusalem. Shopping in Jerusalem is in itself an experience that’s worth a visit.
Jerusalem’s heart will always remain unchanged, but its exterior is undergoing a major makeover. New roads and super modern infrastructure improvements, a unique light rail system the first of its kind in Israel and one of the most advanced in the world is on track. Jerusalem’s new road ways are comparable with those of the world’s major cities. Visitors and the common use will be greeted by a new world metropolis.

And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing. So said the prophet Zachariah, but even he couldn’t have foreseen the joyous place that Jerusalem has become for youngsters.

“Our Jerusalem has everything. This is the holy city and the enlightened city, the historical city and the youthful city. The city that is constantly evolving and greening. A city with room for everyone. Let’s make a world together.”
Ten measures of beauty were bestowed upon the Earth, nine of them on Jerusalem. And it seems today that the tenth measure too encircles this wonderful city, this is Jerusalem.
