I am Steve Terrano, welcome to subset of body performance. A lot of people have been asking, Steve, I did not work out last week and my waist stayed the same or I ate a little bit healthier so I lost weight. Does that mean a healthy diet is more important than exercising and all this stuff and they begin to obsess about the numbers and they obsess about weight loss.
I have said this before, weight loss is a process, it is not an event. It is not like the going to the bathroom or catching a cold. It is not something that occurs and it is done. It is a process. It takes awhile. If you are dieting or you are exercising or doing a combination of the two and you are creating a calorie deficit everyday, you are losing weight everyday. 300 calories less a day is a weight loss, you may not see it in the mirror. You may not see it on the scale but 300 calories less a day, adds up. So that is why you have to remember, weight loss is a process, not an event. It takes times.
So if you think about what you did last week and you think about what you ate yesterday and you think about what you did last month, all those things come into play. So if you did not lose any weight this week, we have next week and we have next month so do not obsess about it. You do what you are supposed to do and things will take care of themselves. Love your body. I will see you next time.
