Okay, in this next warm ups, we’re going to go over a few exercises that are going to start developing your footwork. Now, these are great for getting your feet alternating back and forth as well as sinking them up with your hands.
Okay, so for the first exercise, we’re going to be playing a straight eighth note pattern on the right cymbal and alternate double bass 16th notes on your feet. Let me demonstrate this for you.

All right, for warm up number two, it’s going to be very similar to the first warm up we played. You’re going to want to keep that same eighth note pattern on your right cymbal, however, instead of playing a constant 16th note roll on your bass drum you’re going to break it up a little.
[Demonstration]
Okay, warm up number three uses both 16th notes and eighth notes on your double base. You want to follow along with your sticks on the snare drum as well.
[Demonstration]
Okay, for this last warm up exercise, you’re going to play it in triplets. So, make sure you’re playing along with a quick track so you don’t go off time.
[Demonstration]
Okay, that’s it. Take these warm ups to your kit and have fun with them.
