Hey! this is Paul Colligan. I want to show you how you can download YouTube videos or at least what is the beginning of very easy, very quick YouTube video downloading. We are right now on the Ride on the Whistle Stop Train Tour, it's from the Obama Change.gov channel. He is doing a great job with new media, hats off to the guy.
Now if you notice here, check this out. If you scroll down right underneath the video, is a Click to download button right from YouTube. This is not a plug-in, this is not some Greasemonkey script, this is part of YouTube proper. If you click to download and I am using this on a Mac, but the same thing will work on a PC, you download video.mp4, an MP4 file format. That's the file format that works on your iPod, that works on your iPhone, that works on your Apple TV, it works on the Xbox, it works with the Popcorn Hour, it works with a whole bunch of video platforms.
So YouTube is doing this now, obviously they are testing it. It is not everywhere, but they are starting it. Download-able YouTube changes everything, Click to download right from YouTube, that's it. Have a great one, bye.
