Dr. Drew Ordon on Michael Jackson's Nose Surgery
Dr. Andrew Ordon: Question that he had multiple procedures on his nose and whether
somebody would call it at this stage just two slits and his head, it’s
relative but pictures that I've looked up there's no question he had
multiple Rhinoplasties, nasal surgery to the point where, the skin
had shrunken down and looks like the injected steroids as well, to
defend the skin you could see multiple graphs which they took
from his ear. We know his ears were misshapen as well.
So, we know what happened and in retrospect there's no doubt he
had what we call Body dysmorphic syndrome that he was never
happy with how he look exactly and again this is a case we talked
about drugs, this is a case where doctors had to say no but they
couldn’t say no and there is a point where we have to learn to say
no.
Dr. Lisa Masterson: I don’t we should leave this segment without saying you know
how special he was and we’re speculating on the medical things to
try and learn from them.
Dr. Andrew Ordon: Right.
Dr. Lisa Masterson: I mean he wanted to be you known for who he was and let’s not
take the mask off the celebrity and you know leave him some
dignity in his passing but learn from some of the things that we
cant.
