Well a lot of people are actually using the iPad now for word processing and doing a lot of email
but some people don’t always love the touch screen keyboard or there is another way to get text
in to the iPod it’s an app it’s called drag and dictate. And it allows you to use your voice to enter
that information in and have it automatically translated into text for you which is kind of a cool
feature and it’s free kind of the best part. Simply click on the icon and there is not much to it you
basically just do it say tap and dictate. Hi! My name is Mike I’m doing a TV segment right now
about drag and dictation period. When you finish you top the screen again, it processes what you
just said and brings it up, Hi! My name is Mike I am doing a TV segment right now about drag
and dictation. Bang on! And this is kind of a cool thing it was fairly accurate from the different
type of test I’ve done anywhere from 90 to 95% so if you are wanting to say a lot maybe a little
bit faster for you to actually speak into drag and dictation I just do a few of the corrections as
necessary. I want you do have it in you’ve got a few options, you can click on the button here I
cut the note out, I can copy the note and put it into a word processor for example or what I do a
lot is I just sent it as an email and brings it up and then I can send it to who I ever I want to. It’s
called drag and dictation it’s free and a very simple way to get the text into your iPad without
typing.
