Hi! welcome to a Fishing Knot Instruction video from videofishingknots.com. In this video, I will show you how to tie a dropper loop. It is a mid line loop that you can tie anywhere in the line and you start up by forming a big circle like that and then you grab the spanning part and you put it through that big circle and through that loop and that way you will form sort of a second loop up here and then you wrap that loop three or four times around itself and when they get one mound, so we will see that was two and rather, one more, three, and finally four times like that and that will create a gap up here and we have this twisted part of the big circle and the next step is to take the bottom of the circle and put it through that gap.
So you take the bottom here and you put it through that gap. Oops! just like that. Grab it and then you pull, pull it through so it forms a loop and now you will have a little and sometimes these sides of these twist can be a little bit tricky but if you help them a little bit by pushing them like this and at the same time you pull the loop, you will form a knot that way. It is actually that you sheer with whenever fishing line and it is with this knot on the thread but let's see if I can make it work.
Yup here we go. Just need to pull and push a little bit, pull the loop and push these sides and when you do so, you end up with a nice mid-line loop and this is called the dropper loop.
