It is a real easy recipe, you got a couple of little toys that you can get to make it come out a little bit better but we are going through it real quick and just kind of show you. And of course doing a Drunk Chicken you got a couple of tools that you can use, one of them being what we call our ChickCan and it is basically a wire holder that holds a can.
Most people have done drunk chickens who just basically took the can, put in the chicken, and pop the top and the moisture flows through the actual chicken. You can use cold beer, sprite, orange juice or what ever comes in the can, can be used.
The problem that she had was a lot times you can set the chicken in there and it would fall over. So hence forth, here it come the ChickCan to where it does not fall over and slip the chicken over it and it holds it up. A very effective way then you have the Weber 1 and the Weber 1 is a little bit different because you put your moisture on the inside of this right here and then put your top on and then you slide your chicken over on the top of these and you can even put unions, bell peppers, lettuce, and potatoes in here to enhance the flavor of the chicken.
The difference between the ChikCan and the Weber 1 is the Weber 1 actually has bowl so you do not have all the juices going down on to your grill or your oven because this can be used in the oven also. And then, one my favorite ones is the chicken rocket.
The reason I like the chicken rocket is the chicken rocket is made out of cast iron. So, the heat that actually flows through the cast iron a lot better than the aluminum and of course the little wire stand. The only draw back to this is cleaning it but once you season it just like you season cast iron pot it is not hard to clean it is just the first couple of times. A little difficult to clean but it does a tremendous job. And then, the other thing that we have for this is, we always inject our chicken you do not have to but you have several different injectors you have the cheap plastic one and a little bit upgraded plastic one.
This is normally disposable but then you have a really, really good one, so we have six and you have a twelve inches. What I really like about six and the twelve inches is that the hole homing in is a lot bigger of course they are stainless steel. You know they are a life time unit so these are two most popular when people buy these things.
