David: Hello my name is David from Cambridge, Massachusetts; I was wondering children frequently get very commonly lot of ear infections I was wondering is it common for adults to also get frequent ear infections as well? John May: David that's a good question adults do get the ear infections just as the children but it is less frequent because of the angulation of the ear station is more horizontal in children tending to decrease the drainage and areolation of the middle ear space in adults usually infections may be accompanied with a upper raspatory infection or other condition affecting the nasal passages that might abstract the ear station to causing a build of fluid and then an infection in the ear.
