Great, informative videos, as usual! I just moved into a house and to my delight inherited two small leaved Rhodo plants that grow to about 18 - 20 inches high. One of them, planted closer to the side of the house, with some sun throughout the morning had absolutely no leaves throughout winter while the one planted in more direct sunlight had leaves all throughout winter. The one that kept its leaves flowered a mass of amazing purplish pink double - tissue paper thin flowers very early in April. The other one which I thought was dead, had no leaves early spring and after I began really watering it started to leaf out a somewhat. My question is: what can I do to keep it alive and flowering next spring? Do I have to move it to more direct and longer sunlight exposure or can I leave it where it is and fertilize it back to health? Can I use a 9-12-8 fertilizer for rhodo/azaleas?
